1. Charles Court

Sir Charles Court (1911-2007) was a prominent Australian politician and the 21st Premier of Western Australia. Born in Cottesloe, he served as Premier from 1974 to 1982. During his term, he implemented various significant development projects and played a crucial role in the expansion of mining and resources industries in Western Australia.

2. Alan Bond

Alan Bond (1938-2015) was an Australian businessman and entrepreneur. Born in London, England, Bond later moved to Cottesloe, Western Australia, where he established his successful career. He gained international recognition after winning the America's Cup in 1983, becoming the first non-American to do so.

3. John Glenn

John Glenn (1921-2016) was a renowned American astronaut and politician. Although not a native of Cottesloe, Glenn spent a considerable amount of time in the area during his astronaut training in the 1960s. He captured global attention as the first American to orbit the Earth in 1962 as part of NASA's Mercury-Atlas 6 mission.

4. Joseph Lyons

Sir Joseph Lyons (1879-1939) was an Australian politician and the 10th Prime Minister of Australia. While not born in Cottesloe, Lyons grew up in the area. He served as Prime Minister from 1932 until his death in 1939. Lyons was the first Australian Prime Minister to die in office.
